19th centuryThe ogee form dish finely enamelled with Laozi holding a staff with his double-gourd and fly whisk, with an attendant with a giant peach and a crane flying overhead, the exterior with the attributes of the Eight Immortals; together with a beehive water pot, Daoguang seal mark, Republic Period; and an enamelled plaque, Republic Period, cyclically dated xinyou year, corresponding to 1921.The dish 24cm (9 1/2in) diam.
