A late 19th/early 20th Century French rosewood, decorated and gilt metal mounted vitrine:, surmounted by a panel of rouge variegated marble with a pierced gallery, the silk damask lined interior with two plate glass shelves, enclosed by a glazed panel door and with panels below painted in the Vernis Martin style with male and female figures in a wooded arbor and river landscapes, on cabriole legs, headed with foliate ornament, terminating in sabots, 66.5cm (2ft 2 1/4in) wide, 161cm (5ft 3 1/2in) high.
