An extremely rare and unusual Austrian porcelain group modelled as a Suffragette standing, her arms outstretched, wearing a green bonnet and purple full length dress with blue bow to the front and a large placard around her neck entitled, "VOTES FOR WOMEN". She stands brazenly on top of a squashed recumbent policeman, his helmet askew, holding a truncheon in his right hand. Impressed mark, "Austria" to base and Reg. No. 548094. Approx. 25 cm high.
