A Yorkshire pratware oviform jug moulded and painted in ochre, brown blue and green with a gentleman figure seated smoking a pipe before a horse and tree, the reverse depicting a gentleman seated before a table, bottle and pipe, holding a tankard in his right hand within borders of stiff leaves and painted with the initials "G R", circa 1800.
