Height 34 3/8" Length: 67 1/2"Depth: 18 1/8" Very Fine, 19th Century antique Chinese Qing Dynasty genuine Zitan altar table, with rectangular top panel surmounted the decorated and waisted apron terminating the open work carved skirt. The apron delicately decorated in relief with bands of ruyi pattern, and scrolling floral motif along the skirt. Raised on the four block legs ending in low scrolling motif hoof feet. The Zitan wood altar shows smooth lustrous dark-brown-purplish patina, dense hardwood with feathery fine grain. PROVENANCE: Provenance: Private collections of J. Von Erwin Jr. of Missouri, by inheritance. Condition Over all in EXCELLENT condition. Some stress of wear. Natural wood imperfection, wood joint mark, minor scratches and dents.
