|说 明：《古玩指南》一书中则强调红木为专门的树种，书中二十九章曰:"唯世俗所谓红木者，乃系木之一种专名词，非指红色木言也"即可证明，书中的木之一种，指得就是老红木。老红木产于中南半岛，中国云南一带也有生长，其叶长椭圆形、白花、花呈五瓣形，色红。"木质之佳，除紫檀外，当以红木为最"。此砚盒由红酸枝一木整挖制成，上下子母口，盒盖雕刻双龙纹，周刻海浪纹，整体抛光打磨细腻，雕刻纹饰自然古朴，线条流畅灵动，红木纹理细致可见，历经百年包浆厚实润泽，书香气息浓郁，为典型清代官器精品之作。
