来源：法国藏家旧藏说明：瓶取翡翠为材，质地莹润，天然古朴。器型扁方，方钮鼓盖、方唇、折肩、直腹、方圈足微撇。瓶身以剔地阳起纹饰，瓶身饰兽面纹，其纹饰诡异难辨，古朴神秘。瓶及瓶盖侧出双龙耳，瓶身与盖子为子母口，闭合紧密，丝丝相扣。瓶内掏膛匀净，打磨一丝不苟，愈显器物之珍贵。兽面纹于青铜器上甚为常见，所饰之物尤以鼎、簋居多。早期盛行于商代至西周，古人爱其古朴独特，亦悉心加以模仿和发展，并将其应用于其它器物之上，乾隆时期尤甚。
