|此件玉狗体型较小，黄色玉质。小狗呈站立状，双耳直立，三角坑眼，方鼻口，前足用一道线槽分开，后足并拢，体态浑圆。整体雕刻刀法素朴，寥寥数刀将小狗形象雕刻的生动传神，营造出动物温顺的神态，仿若浑然天成。玉狗的形象在商代玉器中极为少见，仅在商代殷墟妇好墓出土了一件狗纹饰的片状玉器。这件小玉狗器体虽小，琢刻简单，但其表现出来的商代韵味非常浓郁，依然十分珍贵。
