|此盒为竹胎，以清中期文竹工艺制成。文竹即竹簧，又称“翻簧”、“反簧”或“贴簧”，是江浙一带的竹雕绝技。其工艺以大型的南竹为材料，用刀劈去竹青和竹肌，仅留下一层薄薄的竹簧片，经过水煮、晾干、压平等工序，然后胶粘于器物上。乾隆宫廷文竹海棠式双层盒呈委角海棠式，通体竹黄贴花。贴簧装饰蟠螭式缠枝纹，侧边四组纹饰统一，盖沿贴回纹。造型精巧秀雅，玲珑可人，整器分多种贴簧，地子的贴簧颜色浅淡，而凸起的蟠螭式缠枝纹颜色较深，形成独特的视觉效果。清宫旧藏即有很多类似作品，品级尤高，很多都属于御制之品。||参考：|1.北京故宫博物院馆藏文竹海棠式双层盒，载于《故宫雕刻珍萃》，北京，2002年，页82-83，编号51|2.纽约佳士得拍卖，2009年9月15日，拍品368号
