铜鎏金嵌银丝释迦牟尼佛头饰螺发，头顶现高肉髻，髻顶安宝珠，豆荚状双目俯视，嘴角上扬，嘴周肌肉表现自然，面相沉静安详。肩宽胸挺，法相庄严。上身着袒右肩袈裟，袈裟边缘镶嵌银丝，线条流畅，简洁大方。结跏趺坐于莲花宝座上，左手结禅定印，右手结触地印，为释迦牟尼佛成道像标准形象。束腰仰覆莲莲花座，莲瓣宽肥饱鼓。此尊造像的一个突出之处就是其大部分采用了一种特殊的合金，呈现咖啡色，袒露部分施用冷金处理，就造像的面部所呈现的艺术特征来看，表现出了鲜明的汉地风格，同时也展现出西藏本土艺术特征，应是15世纪在北京或内蒙制作的造像。
