Beauty with a ParrotInk and color on silk, hanging scroll, depicting a seated lady attended by a maid and teasing a parrot perched on a stand, behind her an eight-fold screen painted with a river landscape, and with archaic bronzes and other vessels displayed on surrounding tables and daybeds, at the lower left bearing a signature reading Shifu Qiu Ying and with one seal reading Shizhou (stains, toning, upper hanger separated).18 5/8 x 12 1/4in (47.3 x 31.1cm)
