中堂在本色绫地上彩绣庄园庭院中一景，图中左上角有一八角亭，亭中二女相依而坐正在读书，亭外三位仕女相聚交谈，背后一公子打扮少年探头而望，似在偷听；图中间靠右有一楼阁，四位女子倚栏而立，嬉戏垂钓。楼阁外不远处，丫鬟小姐四人，采花摘草，结伴郊游；图正下方有一回廊，一蓝衣公子斜靠假山，陷入沉思。身后台中，一孩童正在抢夺少妇手中鲜花。左下角三位少女，一持扇，一捧书，一吹笛，恬静依然。画中人物多达 20 人，各个高冠华服，锦衣玉带，显示了其不一般的身份；亭台楼阁、小桥流水、苍松翠柏、珍禽异兽、祥云瑞鹤点缀其间，场面热闹中不失宁静。该中堂尺幅巨大、人物众多、用色明丽、针法多变，不失为粤绣中的精品。
