此提盒为紫檀材质，以长方框制成底座，两端竖立桩，上安提梁。盒体分三层式迭落，连同盖共为四层，每层口沿起阳线，加厚子口，盒盖两侧立墙正中打眼并以铜条贯穿，防止盒盖翻落，两侧刻有花饰且婉转华丽，全器用料整齐，线条流畅，包浆自然，紫檀木质纹理纤细浮动，色调深沉，具有古朴沉稳之感。参阅：1、王世襄及袁荃猷，《明式家具萃珍》，美国中华艺文基金会，TenthUnionInternationalInc，芝加哥及旧金山，1997年，148-149页。王世襄及袁荃猷《明式家具萃珍》紫檀提盒成对2、2013年香港佳士得春季拍卖会，LOT2179
