|说明：瑞鹿在古人眼中为吉庆之祥兆，寓意长寿，又有富贵之义。从乾隆乃至其后各朝都常有关于宫廷下令景德镇御窑厂烧造瓷塑瑞鹿之记载，如《乾隆七年纪事》档载，是年“五月初二日太监高玉传旨：将唐英烧造之鹤、鹿，嗣后烧造时，鹤俱要对面，其鹿脖子要直的”。而在同治十三年时传发九江关景德镇御窑厂烧造的纸样梅花鹿由于无法烧造，又被其时九江关监督沈保靖上交回内府，现收藏于故宫，亦可作参照，由此可见此类作品烧制难度之大。雄鹿摆件呈卧姿，四肢卧于身下，鹿角雄壮有力，双耳翘立，神态安详，外表刻工加以装饰鹿的绒毛。整体简洁，线条自然流畅，神情灵动神韵，做工特殊、精致。耐人寻味，陈设效果极佳，可谓文房案几之上装饰佳作。
