A PAIR OF CHINESE BRONZE INCENSE BURNERS FORMED AS THE FIGURES ZHANG GUOLAO AND LI TIEGUAI.Late Ming Dynasty, 17th Century.One depicting Zhang Guolao as the cover seated with a ruyi sceptre in the left hand, riding a donkey with bulging eyes the front right foot raised and head turned slightly to the right, over a stylised rocky base with an attendant boy carrying a fish drum, the other depicts Li Tieguai riding on a mythical animal whose head turns to the left, with an attendant boy behind.
