Song DynastyThe bowl of conical form with thinly potted wide flaring sides, the interior decorated with the imprint of a leaf burnt in reddish-brown and light buff tones, covered overall with a rich dark brown glaze thinning to a lighter tone at the rim, stopping short before the small ring foot, fitted box. 14.9cm (5 7/8in) diam.
