SOTHEBY'S: ARCHAISTIC RECTANGULAR BRONZE CENSER, 18TH CENTURY, of rectangular section with straight sides to a flat base and supported on four columnar legs, the exterior cast in shallow relief with sylized taotie masks centered by raised flanges, above pendent leaves enclosing leiwen, set to either side with upright handles, hardwood cover with open work ruyi and a jade figural knop and fitted hardwood stand.
