8 Japanese Porcelains 17/18 Century Arita Imari; an early 8 lobed Teapot with cover, a bowl and cover and a set of 6 plates with marks to the bases, all well painted in underglaze blue and overglaze iron red with gold. Teapot spout 1/2 restored with overpainting, and a few very tiny flakes; bowl with cover possibly married, the cover with an overpainted finial of curls and flowers, the inside of the cover with a silver rim; the six dishes each with 1 or 2 rim chips and light wear to iron red and gold. Length of teapot from handle to spout 7 3/8 inches (18.8 cm.).
