此件印泥盒，呈子母口，木胎，呈扁圆形。外壁通体髹朱漆，内部髹黑漆。器表满工剔红细雕牡丹花卉纹，雕漆品种之一，又名“雕红漆”或“红雕漆”，此技法成熟于宋元时期，发展于明清。
