款识：蒋仁 苍山横黛 |此石“夺天工之斧凿，不能成其形”，殊为难得。此山子，石质细腻，慎密坚硬，石色米黄，予人浑穆古朴、凝重深沈之感。石体表面历尽沧桑，其形俊俏，可谓鬼斧神迹，天工造化。|并刻文“苍山横黛”。|蒋仁（1743－1795）， 原名泰，字阶平，后来因得“蒋仁”古铜印，极为欣赏，遂改名为蒋仁，号山堂，别号吉罗居士、女床山民，浙江仁和（杭州）人。性孤冷，寡言笑，终身罕与世接。“西泠八家”之一。
