题识：三哥嘱录先贤格言，大千弟爰。|钤印：张爰之印信、大千居士 |释文：每思人生，坏一贪字，贪字才起念，便以恕字压之，不敢作便宜事耳。|说明：上款人“三哥”为张大千三哥张丽诚。|简介：张大千，名爰，一名季，又名季爰，一度为僧，法号大千，又称大千居士，四川内江人。善孖弟。大千少年才俊，从梅庵、农髯先生游，泛读石涛、八大真迹，得其真髓，临摹几可乱真，与齐白石有“南张北齐”之称。作山水、花卉、鸟兽皆精妙，特擅写荷，名重当时。晚年作泼墨泼彩山水，为一代艺术大师，徐悲鸿称其为“五百年来一大千”。
