|何庆元（1785-1850），字子贞，号积之，别号漱石，汝城县人。道光十五年（1835），中进士，馆选翰林院庶起士，入庶常馆学习三年。考试散馆，以成绩优秀，留翰林院实录馆任协修。虽担任的是前途无量的要职，但何庆元淡于仕途，且厌恶清朝官场的黑暗，于道光二十五年（1845），以老母年高，告假归养，从此没再做官。
