|简介：吴伟（1459-1508），明代著名画家，字次翁，又字士英、鲁夫、号小仙。江夏（今湖北武汉）人，画院待诏，孝宗时授锦衣卫百户及赐“画状元”的图章。龆龄流落至海虞（今江苏常熟），收养于钱昕家，伴其子读，时窃弄笔墨，画山水人物之状，钱见而奇之，曰：“若作画工耶？”即与笔札厚给养之。弱冠至金陵画名遂起。
