“乾隆年制”款 |铜胎鎏金，身呈钟型，平底，束颈，圆球口。口部及腹身饰蝴蝶花卉纹，肩部三处饰羊头，故名三羊开泰。三羊开泰，因古时「羊」、「阳」通假，亦称「三阳开泰」。《易经》中称：「十月为坤卦，纯阴之象。十一月为复卦，一阳生于下。十二月为临卦，二阳在下。下月为泰卦，三阳大下。」其意为冬去春来，阴消阳长，万物复苏，因此三阳开泰有吉祥之象。此外，中国宗法社会亦有「君为阳」，「父为阳」的思想，故此纹饰在清代受到皇家大力推广，而成为宫廷器物的经典纹样。
