19th C Chinese Ruyi Scepter, the head with elaborate Gilt Silver wire-work to both sides, the center inlaid with 5 dark pink cabochon Tourmalines surrounded by small amber beads; the hardwood stem well carved as interwoven vine branches and leaves; with an old silk tassel. Light wear to the gilt silver, some of the amber beads chipped or re-stuck. Length 12 inches (30.6 cm.).
