Tibet, circa 16th century|The Buddha of Longevity seated in dhyanasana and attired in princely raiment crisply incised in lotus scroll hems and a diadem inlaid in turquoise and red-hued semi-precious cabochons, holding the kalasha of amrita, all raised upon a double layer lotus petal band plinth. |7 1/2in (19cm) high|Compare similar 16th-century examples published in Ulrich Von Schroeder, Indo-Tibetan Bronzes (Hong Kong: Visual Dharma, 1981), notably pp. 442-443, no 199C, D, F and G.
